Around Delden, the scenery changes into a true estate landscape, with long tree lined avenues, historic farmsteads and old country farms leading the way towards Landgoed Twickel. This privately managed estate has covered more than 4,500 hectares for nearly seven centuries, with Twickel Castle as its stately centre surrounded by forests, nature and farmland.
